Default Distibutor Part Number For GS-R, the casting number on the dizzy, what is it???

I checked my Dizzy housing for the aprt number so I can order another one. But i cant find it anywhere. Does anyone know the part number of a distributor off a 95 GSR? Any help would be appreciated. Oh and can i used any DOHC VTEC dizzy like one off a prelude or a b16a as long as its obd-1? thanx

I think all b series will interchange (as longs as the orignal distributor was obd1 and so is the new one, same thing for obd 2) But the prelude one will not fit on there.

OEM #: 30100-P72-006

TEC brand dizzy (TC-08A)

It's gonna be expensive brand new from a dealer

the WHOLE complete plug in and go dizzy is like $530.. the housing alone which requires your old dizzy's ignitor, coil and harness is like $350.. i bought a brand new OEM spec (not OEM) for $260 shipped from hondadistributor.net

That's a lot of $$. But I was reading another thread and I saw this:

judging by your name im guessing you have a obd1 car. if you do you can just use a stock prelude cap. the come from the factory with external coils and bolt right up to the same year dist for b series.

So I guess if you use the prelude one, you would need an external coil.

Thank you all for the responses. I just bought one from distibutor king for 200 shipped, they are out of NY too so i should get it either tomorrow or weds. I'll let everyone know how the product is, but from what i hear and read there stuff is pretty good. Let me know if you have one of there distributors or know any info on them thanx.
