Default A whole bunch of questions about automatic Integras. Please read

Please don't flame if these questions seem redundant and outdated. I did a search and didn't find any useful information for myself. Thanks

1. If i get a upraded torque converter, say Art Carr or Level Ten, will it be safe for me to continue spraying in between tranny shifts? The nitrous ammount will probably be around 55 to 75 shot.

2. I hear from advertisments that ecu reprogramming companies such as JET chip or Superchips Inc. will upgrade my ecu and therefore allowing my transmission to perform better with crisper shifts. Any ideas or experiences with this type of upgrade?

3. Finally, Which type of header is best for an auto ls. I will be using Zex nitrous hopefully at 75 shot and I also plan to upgrade my camshafts to Crower 403's where I hope to make power up to 7.5k. I hear for a normal auto, a wise investment would be the 4-2-1 header design. However, when I upgrade to the performance cams, would I benefit more from the 4-1 designs?

Thanks for reading and if any of you can answer any of my questions it would very appreciated. Thanks very much.

How would i be able not to spray in between shifts? I would have to let go of the gas but that would really suck.

There's a box sold by MSD I think that disactivates the nitrous between a certain rpm range. You could set it to spray right up until just before redline...

the torque converter lets you spray in any gear. its easier too
cause it will transfer the right amount of power to the ground..
get level tens 800 dollar kit...TC, and shift kit, and a tuned ecu...

stock, u can already spray 75 on it ez
50 shot's you'll run low 15's

For a Non-Vtec (assuming that's what you have do to the AT), I think a 4-2-1 would be a wiser decision since you'd be making more power in the midrange- where it would be more useable. You'll still gain in the High RPM's, but not as much in the middle as a 4-2-1.

nitrous and tq would definitely be easier and cheaper

my opinion, two of my buddies got a ls, one with ss dc 4-2-1 and one with a jdm 4-1, ive driven both, and i can tell you there is a huge difference between the two.... they both have i/h/e and the one w/ the jdm wins everytym, even when they switch drivers.... it pulls much harder......

u wont regret paying the extra money.... jus what i think...
