Anyone one know much about the h22a swap for a civic? Or is it even worth swapping to?

 

you'll break axles like you go through underwear, and it'll cost you an arm and a let just to be able to break those axles

some people say there hard to drive, or at least hard to get used to

i wouldn't do it

you heard about what?

The h22 is only 30 something more lbs then the b18............
From EXPERIENCE... The car handled very well. My friend with a h22 in his 98 EX is perfect, and has alot of power.
Hes been driving it for 3 and a half years now racing for about 2 years now, and hes axels are ok.... HARD TO DRIVE? ROFL its hard to drive a car that has *****.

ive had a h22 in my eg for over a year now and now its turbo and i have yet to break an axle

 

this is fact, two of my good friends have lude motors. One of them in a 93 accord and one in an eg. My friend in the accord told me he was having trouble with axles. And I've got enough experience and enough friends with years of building hondas under their belt. I'll be just fine with my swap, thanks.

and the fact is countless guys on here are running h22 civic's with absolutely NO problems. i know people who have had h22's for 2+ years running oem axles with no binding or any other problems. If you have friends with "years of building hondas under their belts" then there should be no reason why you are posting the Myths of the h22 civic.
