Will Spoon mono-block calipers fit on an ITR?
Universal?
I thought Sp00n calipers were application specific.

Yes you can get them to fit, but you will need some 300mm rotors + super thick spacers to clear them (16x7 +35 will clear without spacers).
yes, the mono-block calipers are. check the spoon website

Hmmm ... OK, so whaere do you get the "universal" adapter/mounting bracket?
If you have a DC2 then I'd get the DC2 spec (OEM replacement - bolt on) calipers.

.....for the $ I'd go with the endless kit then.
The only reason not to go with the application specific twinblock is you want to say you've done it (monoblock).
The beauty of the twinblock is that it fits under 15" wheels.....

the monoblock calipers are universal, but they require a special bracket for each application
from the looks of this, taken from http://www.randdmotorsports.com, the integra needs the twin block...

no where in there does it show that the mono blocks are compatible... there is no bracket for them. Im sure you could fab some up, granted the rotors were the right thickness, but why not just get the twin blocks?

I have a friend overseas who has done this. If I remember correctly, he used the s2k brackets and they fit okay. But don't take my word for it.
Like others have suggested, the twinblock is a better buy.

Same as the Spoon Twinblock though as it uses a Stock size rotor, except that you have to run a 16" Rim with the endless and can run a 15" with the Spoon.
A Good reason to do a Custom setup with the Spoon Monoblock is that you can use a 300-315mm Rotor vs using a stock size rotor. If you use the Monoblock with the S2K Adapters, and can get yourself some Rotors from the Mugen Activegate system it might bolt right up (As I have heard that the Activegate uses S2K Calipers.)
If you wanted to Go all out custom you could have the Mounts custom fabbed or modify an existing adapter, have some Custom rotors from Stoptech or Fastbrakes and go from there.
I was going to do this setup awhile back when I got a set of the Monoblocks as a gift but didn't have the time or money at the time to pursue this mod.

.....you make some good points mike. I came to the same conclusion after rereading my own post! LOL Bigger rotor = better heat sink, and bigger swept area of the pads = better braking.
Lots of work/ trouble though.....
If the endless 4-pot kit uses stock sized rotors (albeit slotted), then surely there must be a low enough offset wheel that'll clear them in 15".....?
Perhaps a 15x8, +27?

Yes I know a friend who has 15" TE37's over the endless 4pots but I am not sure what offset and how thick of a spacer he's using.
So yes endless 4pot will fit behind 15".

OMG!!! I would almost kill for that info!
btw: fwiw, iirc yasu from ats usa's eg racecar at expo3 had the ss works/ skyline front calipers and 15" wheels... but also a crazy offset + big assed spacers...

for 1500 you could get a better brake setup one that comes with 4pist calipers and bigger rotors which will stop you much better then just some spoons

The AJ Racing EM1 also has Endless Calipers under 15" TE-37's. They wont fill me in on the offset though, only would tell me he has big spacers. Wouldnt even tell me the size of those. I would be interested to find out as well.

Stock sized rotors are fine...... If you need bigger for whatever reason, NSX/Legend calipers and 28mm legend rotors.

I believe Ben said they were running 50mm(!) spacers
But I agree with RJ
about upgrading to NSX calipers instead.

Since we're on the topic of fitting rotors, would anyone happen to know if there is any off-the-shelf rotor that is 28mm thick x 330 mm in diameter? Also, would it even be possible to fit 330 mm rotors under say 15x7.5" +31 wheels without spacers? Thanks d00ds!
