D16A1 is a 1.6 DOHC PGM-FI, it came out of an 86-89 Integra, the motor makes either 113(86-87) or 118(88-89). The also came out of J-spec CRXs. Either way you have a better engine in your car than a stock Si. Hope it helps.

the only issue with that motor in your car is that it wont fit..... the rear mount is different....anything can be done...but is it really worth it for ten hp....think about that

so what your saying is that your stock motor is a 1.6 dohc d16a1 ? if so then somebody put that motor in there and did a custom job, now this is where you gotta worry. the d16a1 doesnt fit in our cars without some custom work, so you gotta figure out what he did to make that motor fit

you would have a real issue with the rear mount move it or weld in the teg one.... but its not worth it
