Default help me please!!

2001 R car is bone stock, hear very light high pitch humming noise when shifting, it seems like the sound come from shifting, right after the clutch is disengaged and when the clutch is touching the flywheel, but not fully engaged yet. It's not very noticeable, but I can hear it if I pay attention to it and turn off my radio etc...

anyone experience the same thing?

Do you let your revs drop off quite a bit between shifts? This could be the sound of your syncros playing catch up..

I think you got the case of the heebee jeebees. Don't worry too much about it guy. The Type R is not be the type of car where you're should be too critical of what you hear coming from it. Trust me, I went through that stage of freaking out everytime I heard something. So far, so good.

As long as it still drives oK to you .. just disregard it ....... BTW you said it was stock.. So nothing should be wrong.. if so , go to dealer and they'll handle you there. hope this helps

When we test drove the type r the engine made strange noises but when the dealer showed us how it was done it went sweet.
