Today for the second time I ran my Stock JDM K20A powered Eg on the strip to a PB of 12.43 time slip is as follows, the stock LSD started to give me trouble so had lots of problems on the launch. This time is on an unprepared track on 24.5-9-13 slicks

1/8 7.968
MPH 88.28
1/4 12.430

I also forgot to say that the cars track weight is 1980lbs including me, its still a full chassis set-up and panelled car.. but not street legal
Current mods are as follows
Topspeed PRO1 RSX header chopped to have a 3" collector
about 2 feet of 2 1/2" exhaust dumping under the car
a HONDATA inlet manifold gasket
A UNI filter and polished inlet pipe
A programmable LINK computer with no VTC tuning functions

I have a friend with a 2000lb N/A car that went the same mph(110). His ET was 12.21 with a 1.72 60ft. So you know theres alot more in it.

I was just wondering, what rpm do you launch at and how did you compensate for the lsd on the launch?

the car is making between 200-220whp with an open header and intake, still has alot more power to be found as we dont run the VTC yet...
As for the cost, dont ask if it was a road car it would have been alot less..
As for compensating for the LSD it was a case of either hanging on like anything or launching under 7500rpm above that it was only putting most of the power through one wheel and almost driving me into the wall for the first 0.5 of a second anyway..
We hope to pull another 200-300lb out of it over our of season and return it with another 20-30whp to have a run at the low 11's

im having a hard time believing this. a stock rsx k20 ran a 15.7@90 last night at my track and with only 220whp?? how can you be in the 12's?? and this kid i now has 480whp on his gsr w/20psi boost and he ran a 11.8

Slicks, power to weight ratio and maybe some driving skill.. ?
