Who's gonna be at WW3 in November at Budds Creek MD?
Not that its a bad thing or less of a sport, there arent too mant drag racers in this forum, even though the description lists it.
We welcome drag racers...just arent too many of them that post here.

BTW, "drag my ***" would have been exceedingly more funny
I might go if my civic is ready, since I will be off and don't think there will be any Summit point runs......

In case my leap of logic didn't make sense . . . since NASA uses standing starts and since ECHC will run with NASA, I thought it might be something (if advantageous) that several ECHCers might check out. Can you run a non-streetable car at one of these? I would assume so but just wanted to confirm.
I think that would be rather funny going down the drag strip in the wrong rollcage
Na, I won't be going.. Have fun though

My very limited understanding is that the rollcage is only necessary for certain times and/or speeds. That is correct right? If I am correct on this, I wouldn't think even the fastest H1 machine would be reaching that. I think my sister's boyfreind told me what he would need a cage for vs. what he was running in an extremely stout T/A and the numbers seemed pretty disparate. Ergo, he wouldn't be getting there without some degree of help from Nitrous.
Correct me please fellas cause I am sans clue on this but wouldn't mind knowing should I check it out.

It's like a different world out there. Most of the ricer's running around our streets will go to try their best to challenge the tree of lights for a good run. I've been active a long time ago in drag racing, but as I grew older, I wanted to get out of that scene. I still have my civic, and would like to see what it could do for last years winter dyno of 326 whp, 251 torque. It would make me happier before I sell it to see a good run. More less just for kicks.... I still want to see George's expression to this type of crowd. I think it would be very interesting to him to watch and consume it all in! This one won't be as big since it's an import vs domestic race. Peter Farrell used to run this one in his road racing RX-7, lol.

I don't discriminate too much....I'll probably have nothing better to do that day, and perhaps swing on down to Southern MD to check out some assorted humanity, a bunch of 16 second Civics, some faster cars with driver's that have trouble launching, and some turbo Buicks. (
) And then I'll go stand in front of Victor's Civic and gaze into it's engine compartment for half an hour or so.

I think I'll go. I've always wanted to see what kind of E/Ts and traps this new motor pulls, but never could make it to MIR's Midnight Madness. And hopefully all the domestics there won't be running 13s and under, like maybe tame N/A Neons and Foci I could supprise.
Hey MJ...I'm most likely going. I'm quitting my job...woohoo!
I just wanna see some domestic iron in action at least once in my life...
And how about we start going to some Solo II events? Maybe next season?
