Reasonable drop for a 88 civic?
One thing to remember though when your looking at getting springs for the most part they are all kind of off so if they say 2" drop its usually more like a 2.25" drop.

1.6 at the time of purchase about 1.8 after settling. If you are putting cheap springs on it with stock struts it is not going to be a smooth ride. new springs will always settle. After install drive in circles for 30 seconds one way and 30 seconds the other. That will make the settle faster.

I've got Aero's 2.25" drop springs w/ KYB GR-2 struts, and I think it's the perfect ride height for my car. Not too much of a drop, and it doesn't bounce all over the place either.

No camber kit yet, but I may get one in the summer. My tires don't get that worn out w/the camber. If I'm not careful turning into angled drives and such the passenger tire will catch the fender lip and pull it out, grr....it sucks, but I'll just be careful I guess. It didn't do that till I got those 7" wide wheels on there.
