Default Disabling annoying seatbelt beeping

Hey.. my first post.

I just bought a brand new 2004 accord sedan today. I absolutely love the car, but one thing is majorly annoying me. If you try to drive without the seatbelt on, it beeps and flashes on the dashboard.

Can anyone tell me how to disable this "feature"? I looked in the manual, and theres nothing that shows me which fuse it is. I also looked under the seat, and seen several color coordinated wires, but Im not sure which it could be. If you own a 2004 Accord and know the answer to this, please tell me in graphic detail. Perhaps even provide a picture if possible.

Thanks in advance

why would we help you disable something that reminds you that your an idiot for not wearing your seatbelt? you do realize its illegal right? does it bother you while you are street racing other ricers and they make fun of you because your car beeps at you for being a stunna? try wearing your seatbelt and stop complaining. they are in there for a reason... best question today so far

You disable it by putting on your seat belt and stop yourself from becoming either a statistic or a flying projectile once you are ejected from the car.

Sigh...

I asked a question in a Honda forum thinking I could get a serious answer. One thing I don't need is a lesson that Nancy Reagan would give me.

I want to know how to disable it for certain situations ... Not to go speed racing. I dont race in the first place.

Perhaps it has nothing to do with driving fast without the seat belt on? Does anyone here have any idea how to do this or am I at the wrong site?

You know what we don't tell people or help people in any way that would help you disable something that would save your life. And don't say this is not about racing cause it is not it is about driving and being smart. A seat belt can save your life.

go to junk yard, look for some wrecked honda, cut out the shiny piece(tounge piece) of the seat belt thing. stick it in and have fun shooting yourself out of the front windshield or just eat the air bag Hardcore style. JUST kidding, good luck

the beeping and flash probably is programmed into the ecm, good luck if you want to hard wire it. Or look for some fuse that might disable it(not likely but you can try!)

pull the fuse, or just jam in a clip of some sort that will make it think the seatbelt is on....

Then what purpose would it be for....other than working on your car with the seatbelt undone and the key in the on position
