CTR TB vs. ITR TB
Ok, I just wanted to know if there is a difference between the ITR throttle body and the CTR throttle body. If this topic has already been discussed I'm sorry for reposting and would appreciate a link to the thread that discusses this topic. I did a search and came up with no results, Thanks.
From now on you guys need to be more specific...
The JDM k20a Civic Type-r has the same TB as the JDM ITR K20a. It is 62mm.
I know you are most likely asking about the b18b TB... Not sure about that

I wouldn't do it for the world.
Too many fucktards on here to even begin. But you were correct, he does need to be more specific.

I just measured an actual CTR throttlebody and it is 62mm.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Measure the part that fits against the intake manifold, not the mouth. The CTR throttle body is not the same as the ITR. I measure one out of a front clip straight from Japan... I am 100% sure they are not the same.

Its not that bad, it tapers down to 60mm... But most people you see who "know" its 62mm, measured the wrong end. Even the ITR one tapers down, but it tapers down from a larger opening to 62mm.

Thanks for all the info, next time I'll be more specific. From the posts I conclude that the B16B (CTR) TB is 62mm and tapers to 60mm and the B18C5 (ITR) TB is 62mm on the Intake manifold side. If this is correct, then what does the B18C5 (ITR) TB measure on the intake arm side or does it measure 62mm straight through? Thanks again for all the info.
