Default Mesh grill

Hey guys I just had a question about fine mesh grill for the air dam. Has anyone had any problems with overheating issues using too fine of a mesh? I bought a mesh grill today, because my radiator has had a toll on, with rubber, stones etc hitting it.

There won't be any One Answer. Overheating is all by degree, so to speek, where you drive, hills, temperature, car payload...

I run a piece of gutter guard back behind the grille opening. Only had a problem with overheating at Summit a couple years ago, and the problem was the ambient temp, not the grill. You'll be fine.

I had gutter guard on my Integra, but a few rocks (maybe more like boulders?) later the stuff had gotten knocked out of the way. The stainless mesh that Pegasus sells would be better, I'm using stainless mesh on my intercooler to keep from getting rocks jammed in it. Seems to be working well, 46k miles and zero bent fins.
