Best way to boost horsepower
i have a 91 civic hatch, and i am wondering what everyone's opinion is on the easiest way to up horsepower. engine swap or turbo? i found a zc with tranny for $795, which says it has around 130 horse. how much horsepower would i gain from boosting my d15 with a t3 turbo?
Not really sure, but I think you can also build a "mini me" with your D15 block. I'm not sure how well a D15 can handle boost. I don't think you'll see much of a gain going from D15 to ZC either, I drive a civic hatch with a ZC and it wasn't that impressive.

thanks for the posts.
im new to hondas so i dont really know what a "mini me" is. hopefully the process of building it up wont take long, because right now my non-si hatch is my only car.
i need projects that i can do on the weekend.
plz explain the whole mini me thing. thanks.

^^^^ very true, btw get the swap man, sure a boosted d series would give you some power but then you realize that you just got beat by a stock b16...sure you turbo a d series and maybe get into the 14's WOW your stuck at 14 seconds, or else you can do even a b18(integra) swap and then run 14's stock and then boost it

put a bunch of stickers on it and a huge wing, then cut off you muffler and add a "pipe" with a tip (crome fo sho!). This set up is good for and extra 10hp. oh yeah get some reverse hammers 15" (old school USDM)!
