Which is the best year S2K to get between 2000 and 2002?
I was reading on someones autotrader ad that he had all the TSB's done for the drive train. So Just wondering what was the issue...and if there was a year that I should avoid when looking at used s2K's...thanks for the help.
Generally, you want the car with the higher model year. When a manufacturer first releases its car, there are bound to be problems with it. As the years build up, they find out these minor problems and fix them.
If your choice is limited to 2000-2002, go with the 2002. Rear window, revised synchros, and a better ecu.

get the 02..better ecu and the best part of rear glass window...im beat cause my 01 has that damn plastic
I was impatient and bought a 2000. I love the car to death, but I should have waited for an 02 to come along...........
Oh well, now I get to do some minor mods to the car
which works for me.
