So what is everyone using for their chassis? I have a DA and planning on b20vtec, I was curious if the chassis made a big difference on the 1/4mile times made? I know weight is an issue but is there any other aspects to look at when choosing a chassis? I want this to be an informative thread, and I want to learn from it too.

most people run eg/ek hatch's or crx's because of the weight, low cost, and availability of parts.

Yeah thats the basics, but I was wondering if there is anymore aspects besides weight, cost and so forth.

 

i got me a '00 ls chassis. its perdy light, with a roll cage. best i ran with my biult motor was 13.2, my best mph was 105, my best 60' was 2.08. still lots of wheelspin, even with slicks. that car would of been in the 12s. and it wasnt built for the strip either

and what is your setup?

 

Im glad to see that people are actually replying hehe. Another thing, does suspension setups differ between all motor and fi setups?

 

DC2 integra!!!! theres a couple of fast integras out there that are in the allmotor cat.!

wow, ppl run low 13s(even 12s) on 81mm bore(JDM ITR pistons) and skunk2 stage 1s in a DC teg...

what numbers did you put down?
