ZC vs Z6
I have a eg coupe and I am tired of my ragged out z6, I have only enough "grip" to buy one of these motors and dont know which of the two would be the best choice. So I guess the question really comes down to, 2ND GEN 1.6L DOHC vs 1.6L SOHC VTEC. as much info as possible would be greatly appreciated.

Much thanks to Dave, that static X rip off ha ha, and Celtic but i would also like to know if my after market header will fit the zc, them being both d series engines i would think so but by now we all no the variable of z6 to zc heads.
the sohc zc vtec pushes 130hp. and it has vtec. i dont know if the tq spec's are the same as the dohc but its the same hp. all d series headers fit as long as they are SOHC. the ZC that is DOHC has larger ports then the sohc's i *think* someone correct me please..

swapping a d16z6 out for a ZC is not worth it in my opinion.
The two motors are very similar in terms of power output, and actually if I had to choose one, i'd lean towards the Z6, which you already have.
unfortunately you're car feels sluggish because its an ex and is heavy as ****.
dseries has potential.. but it's strength is in ease of use, and low price, not overall power output, which is why you'd want one in a lighter car.
turbo is your best bet.
and actually would do quite well, giving you plenty of torque to pull that coupe around.
