My old lsvtec was 11:1 compression. All I had for fuel was a mugen ecu and a fpr. I was running the stock fuel pump with 136k miles on it. 2500 miles after the build the fuel pump took a ****. I detonated, and crushed my rod bearings, which intern scratched my crank severly. The block was a total waste. I had to part it out.

IMO, get a new fuel pump. You can find them for 70 shipped right now in the performance group buy forum here. Get and adjustable regulator too while your at it. You dont want to end up like I did, spending all that money, just to detonate and ruin your crank.
