fuel question
im gonig to be running an lsvtec, 12 to 1 comp motor come next week. im curretnly running on my stock fuel stuff, everything, inj, pump. should i get a 255 pump or will i be ok to run the stock?
My old lsvtec was 11:1 compression. All I had for fuel was a mugen ecu and a fpr. I was running the stock fuel pump with 136k miles on it. 2500 miles after the build the fuel pump took a ****. I detonated, and crushed my rod bearings, which intern scratched my crank severly. The block was a total waste. I had to part it out.
IMO, get a new fuel pump. You can find them for 70 shipped right now in the performance group buy forum here. Get and adjustable regulator too while your at it. You dont want to end up like I did, spending all that money, just to detonate and ruin your crank.

Also get a rail and FPR so u can tune it with and Vafc if dont have it already</TD></TR></TABLE>
