how hard is it to install es mm?
i heard motor mounts are hard to install in the rsx? what do i need and how long does it take? can someone please give me a run down on how to install these?
Yea it's just time consuming. If you have the right tools and know what you are doing it's not bad. Plus there is a how to on Kseries.com, I think it's for an EP3 but you can get an idea whats involved.
you'll need all the tools plus a very long pry bar
1) disconnect the DP/cat
2) remove the header heat shield
3) remove the rear and front mounts
4) install the front FIRST by prying on the header, using the subframe as the fulcrum, tilt the rear of the motor up
5) install the rear
done
takes around 40 mins if you know what your doing

Its pretty much a simple unbolt/insert mounts/rebolt procedure
The hardest part for me was getting the ECU harness unclipped...
I've read in a few EP3 installs to remove the head sheild... it isn't required on the RSX, as the rear mount is nowhere close to the exhaust manifold. But I do recommend unbolting the downpipe instead of pying it out of the way.
