Default Throw bearing noise

I'm having this problem with my clutch in that it's making a squeeking sound whenever its engaged. It also seems to be a little bit hard to engage. I think it's the throw bearing that's going out but I just wanted to a get some more input. It's a 96 accord lx. Btw, does anyone know about how much this would be to get fixed?

It sounds like the throw out bearing from your description and if it is ready then your clutch is probably gonna go soon. To replace you have to drop the trans so i would replace both while i was in there.

the free travel length of the clutch panel before it actually do anything.

do you ride on the clutch as a dead panel?

Nah I dont ride the clutch or anything. I've been really cautious with it because its only my third week with it. I do remember the guy I bought it from told me that some time before I bought it he replaced the pressure plate. I didnt have any problems before the two weeks, I had the shifting down. But beginning this week I noticed I was stalling like crazy and couldnt figure it out. I finnally was able to compensate it. I started to actually notice the squeeking sound earlier in the week but thought nothing of it. Then I started reading up on this stuff and thought I would ask to find out. Btw, if I could drop my transmission and do this myself I would Gladly do it, but I work with computers not cars. I wish I did, but I have to take it to the shop for most major things like this. For some stuff I get my brother, a former mechanic to help me, but this is just something he doesnt want to tackle. So would anyone know how much this would cost?
