Help, I cant get my new shifter bushing to work!

Default Help, I cant get my new shifter bushing to work!

I have a 89 Civic and i bought these bushing


But the big round piece doesn't fit anywhere. Did i buy the wrong set?

Ok i have the feeling this is the kit i was supposed to get


Now where do the 2 round bushing go?

The round bushings go at the front of the change extension where it bolts up to the tranny with a 13mm bolt. Take the old one out and replace it with the new one.

The first will fit a b series shift linkage and the second looks like D series.

This is a pic of an H-series but you can get an idea of what i am talking about if you take a look at the bushing on the right.

Oh and i have another question:
How do i disconect the linkage on the left (in the above picture) from the tranny?

Under the rubber boot you will see a clamp that pops off and there is a gator clip you need to tap out.

The intructions comes with the kit, tells you where it goes, even though you bought the wrong one. But to take the old one out, take a thick screw driver, stick it in and pry it out.

Edit: Those two round bushings we are talking about, they go on the right side in that pic, not the left. Just incase this is why you are asking:

i got the hyperflex kit for my car a long time ago and didnt use those bushings in the second pic b/c i have a b series, i need the one you bought... id trade you bushings if ya wanted.
