Default help me make a suspension decision

Im bored at work so i decided to make a post/poll
so help a brother out: my set up is a crx hf w/JRSCb18c I will be using ground control coilovers. It will be a daily driver and will never see autocross but will see the occasional 1/4's at the local drag strip. Im not looking for something that has a harsh ride. And i know everybody wants to say koni yellow but i really dont want to spend that much. im looking for the best bang for the buck
thankyou

since you want a decent ride for cheap, i say get some eibach springs with tokiko blues. you'll be spending $300 max for a fair suspension.

$300max? The Eibauchs are about $180-200 and the Blues are about $300 for the set. Brand NEW.

I would suggest H&R with KYB GR2 or AGX are even the same price as the I would personally get the AGX. IMO H&R Sports are a bit better then Eibauchs Prokit. Ive had both its stiffer for better handleling and a nicer drop. I have GR2 with I do regret not getting the AGX they are 5 way adj. But wil get some in a couple of months.

eibach's are $150ish new from ebay, so if you look around you're bound to find someone getting rid of them for $120ish. i can't remember offhand, but i've seen tokiko blues go for about $200 brand new...KYB GR-2s = $190ish new off of ebay. ok, maybe i should have said $350 max

well..since legutki stated he was already planning to use ground control coil-overs(i assume you already have them and are just looking for struts)and you arent doing any autocross/track duty..only occasional 1/4 sessions..tokico blues would be a good choice for the cheap..i have them and enjoy the smooth ride..now..having said that..if i had money..koni yellows..or maybe even a showa/vision set-up if i won the lottery

Why get koni yellows if it'll be mostly daily driven. I forgot who said it, maybe it was Tyson in his FAQ, but basically pick your suspension based on what you plan to use the car for the most.

I'd pick the AGX over Illuminas. They're much cheaper, and i couldn't tell the difference between the two when i had them on. And i know of a seller that will offer lifetime warranty

i ran the eibach sportlines with kyb gr2's for about a year and i liked the ride until i wore the struts out under a year. so the ride basically turned into a really bad one. so i got rid of both and now i run illuminas set to setting 5 and coilovers and the ride quality is great. i pretty much feel that adjustable struts are a must if ur driving a lowered ride but thats really my opinion. anyway i still got my sportlines, how much do u think i could grab for them? and by the way whoever said agx's are cheaper than illuminas are wrong, they both run about $100 a piece.

That's if you're foolish enough not to shop around for the lowest price. Illums and AGX retail for 100 a piece, but the AGXs usually sell for much less.
