Default Hesitation in acceleration

Every once in a while my accord will hesitate from about 2k-3k rpm, I could be flooring the gas and it would only rev up extremely slowly. But most other times it just revs up normal. I have no idea why it would do this, because I've never had any problems before, and it only does this once in a while.

Anyone know whats wrong and how to fix it? Thanks in advance.

youre flooding it. flooring it gets you nowhere... sounds like it might be an injector problem. check them injectors out

i was just joking... saying that you are giving the engine too much gas to even operate normally as in "flooding the engine"

i have the same exact problem with my 90' integra and this has nothing to do with the intake/exhaust restriction because i for sure have none. But my guess is it is a fuel system problem just by the feel of the car as if it were running incrediably lean. so far in search of the problem i have replaced every single ignition component and it persists so to keep it cheap start with fuel system and dont start replacing parts untill you have checked all possibilitys cause u dont wanna spend cash aimlessly which problems like this often lead to.

just cleaned the air filter on the intake.. damn that helped a lot, but it still has quite a rough idle.. I'm just glad the engine isnt cutting off anymore when I'm idling.
