Default rear tail lights won't light up, help before I'm rear ended!!!

dont know when this happened but rear turn signals blink and tailights light up when I turn on my headlights. My brake lights wont do a damn thing at all. The bulbs are fine and the 10 amp fuse is ok cause it runs my gauge cluster. IS there a relay or a switch on the actual brake pedal to know when it is depressed?

help me out

I know that there is a button behind the brake pedal that when you push down on the brake that button is pressed in causing the lights to light. You might want to take a test light and check if there is any power coming out of the button. If there is then it might be a relay but I wouldnt know which one it is.

Check the fuse for your horn (under the hood)..the horn and brake lights are interconnected.

I am going to connect the horn and see what happens, it probably shorted the circuit
