Wheres the best place to mount your tweeders ( i dont wanna put them in my door panels)
Wheres a good place to mount some tweeders, i want them to be as stealth as possible, and i dont wanna mount them in the door panel... i was htinkin under the rear speaker covers, but i wonder if that would b good for sound..?
It is hard to stealthily mount tweeters and still achieve good sound. If you just put them on the speaker cover itself it should be ok and still out of plain view.
how about behind your a/c vents? the outer ones (near the doors). thats if you dont have a/c or dont mind a decrease in the flow to those vents.

werd. i put mine on the little black triangles on the doors where the mirror adjusters usually go. i got spoon mirrors, so the tweeters cover up the hole left by the factory remote adjusters

Even though you will have to warn all of your friends not to kick the kick panel it is one of the best places to mount it.

Did you run the tweeters on their own line from the headunit or did you tap into the existing front speaker? I can't remember but normally if you run them from the crossover they are crystal clear and make your ears (they did to me anyway) happy.
