Default Clutch Problem

When I go to let out the clutch and engage iti, it makes a grinding/heasing like sound and has a hard time engaging the clutch, but then once the clutch is enganged everything is just fine. The problem has slowly gotten worse and worse. What would it be? Would that be the throw-out bearing or something? Plz help.

When was the last time you changed your clutch? Maybe its time to replace it...

Hey,

Car has 136k on it and the clutch, when engaged, holds strong. No slipping or anything. I did the clutch test where you put the car in gear and see if the motor can kill it, all holds well. Clutch feels great once ingaged fully, but until then it just makes weird heessing/grinding noises. Hard noice to describe. I would think it was the clutch too, but there is no slipping once it is engaged. Is there something else it could be????
