Default Vtec in a Crv

okay if you where to use a actual Crv and wanted to put a vtec head in it what ecu would you run?

i was thinking that you could use a 99 si ecu and then just add the knock sensor wire plus the sensor itself.

what do you guys think?

if its a manual then a 99 ecu would be fine.. but if your an auto.. then a vtec controller would work just as well..

im on the verge of doing my CRV-tec turbo

if it's the B20b/B18b CRV, Use a 93-95 DC2 two row ecu (auto or man, whichever you have), plugs straight in and the only fault code is for the vtec solenoid, so just run a wire from there to ecu easy

Hmmm, my bad. What OBD is the CRV? Mines OBD1 and uses the same loom as the early JDM DC2 minus the vtec solenoid wire as I've tried this already for a B20vtec conversion. Maybe your USDM DC2's ecu is different to the JDM ones?
Sorry, I'm not up to date with the USDM stuff
