swaping a d15b7 for a jdm d15b can i try and use old distributer

yes you can try, and yes i think it will work too

EDIT d15b7 is non vtec correct? If the d15b7 is non vtec, the dizzy won't work, from a d15b which has vtec

the distributor will will but ur gonna have 2 tap into the ECU to have vtec and ur gonna have 2 get a V-AFC or a MSD activator 2 make the vtec turn on

I tried it out of curiousety and it worked my time is of a fraction of a sec but my exshaust mani heated up to a glow but it has a lot more power than the d15b7
