Default Redrilling rotors...

Im thinking of upgrading my 4g lude to NSX brakes. Anyway, I think it would be better to use an NSX rotor over a vtec rotor since it is a bit wider and I think would reduce warpage (sp?) alot. The issue is that the nsx is 5 lug and my lug is 4x114.3. Anyway, I am wodnering if there is anyway to have the rotors redrilled to fiit the 4 lug. Anyone know? How much would it cost?

Ummm no. If it were that easy we'd all have NSX brakes.

Hmmm, I thought I remembered hearing the Accord Wagon's had 11 inch front rotors and were also 4x114.3mm. That's where the calipers came from on the ITR's (if I remember correctly).

The prelude vtecs also have 11.2 rotors. THe problem is they are not as thick as nsx.

Its not worth it at all, unless you take your car on racetracks, if you wanna stop better, save yourself a lot of money and just get some kickass pads

It can be done, (the drilling anyway) as long as the nsx rotor is on the same bolt circle (the 114mm dimension) otherwise the fifth hole will run into one of the other 4. if its 5 by 114 then you will actually reuse one of the original 4 and then drill 4 new ones. I guess you're going the other way,5-4, but it still works out the same.

If I still had the fixture I'd do it for ya, but I threw it out long ago. I took 4th gen rotors and put a 5 bolt pattern into it for my front wheels.

If you want to do it then just take them to a machine shop and have them drilled. Seems kinda overkill though....

does the caliper even fit? is it the right offset? those imo would be the biggest probs.
