Default Need help w/ TPS on Homemade ITBS

Ok heres the deal! Got some arp head bolts and installed them, welp after i put the head back on for some reason my tps isnt working on my homemade itbs...WTF could be the problem...everything was working great...idled great, motor revved fine...but for some reason now my ******* tps doesnt want to work...ive tried 2 and neither works....whats tha deal?....need help asap...

everything worked fine and you took it apart to put on head bolts and now your tps doesnt work? - why do you say the tps doesnt work

yep ..thats the jist of it...b/c ive got homemade itbs and everything was working fine..but now...it starts and idles great...just doesnt reve b/c of the tps..(im assuming)...what else could it be?

are you getting a code for the TPS sensor? if not, it might not be that. couldbe fuel or ignition problems.

I know this sounds stupid, but it is a common problem...do you have the plugs for your MAP sensor and TPS sensor switched? I know several people that have made that mistake, because the plugs are identical (except for wire colors of course) and they are both right around the same area on the wire harness. Try switching those and see what happens.

thanks for the suggestion...BUt that wasnt it...was hoping so but...nope..not w/ my luck...please keep them coming...need to fix this

na that wasnt it...ive got an ls in a hatch outside and the color of the wires on its tps is the same as my gsr...i wished that was the problem but...NOpe....what else might it be?
