Default How to : hydo gsr trans, B18C1 in EF hatch

What am I going to need as far as motor mounts. I know Hasport makes a kit to convert a cable trans into a hydro trans but that is not what i want to do. With EF B series motor mounts, will the gsr trans bolt up? I have all the hydrolic lines, slave cylinder and what not form my 94 gsr. But really as far as the engine bay goes, what do i need for this heart transplant to work? Anyone done it?

you have two options:

1) use the hydraulic lines, pedal, etc from the gsr and buy an HCP mount kit. You will have to slightly modify the transmission mount as it is made for a cable B tranny. cost = $300

2) don't bother with the hydro lines, buy the Hasport cable to hydro conversion with mounts. cost = $450 + linkage

The new Hasport kit allows you to use a Hydro tranny in any EF/ED. I am using an ITR tranny in mine now, thanks to Hasport.

I am going to be doing this very shortly as well (hasport hydro to cable). I will let everyone know how it goes. Ryan

I

can't

concentrate.
I'd go w/Hasport, plus if anything ever happens with their products they're really good to help ya out.

you need an obd0 -> obd1 harness (dont bother keeping it obd0) and the hasporst hydro kit is sick, i would def recommend it.

no you dont...

If you want to keep in non-obd you can, just use a pr3.

Is this the best route, probably not, but thats what I have in my b18c EF, and it rips
