lots of little lights wont work
I've had this problem for at least 2 years and I've checked every fuse. 1998 EX.
1) The clock light doesn't work.
2) The little green light on the cruise button doesn't work.
3) The low fuel light never comes on.
In an unrelated (I think) problem - the "check engine" light is always on...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

mostlikely your fuses are blown, or your lights are burnt out,i doubt its a major electrical prob.and for the fuel light, maybe the gas isnt that low if it doesnt read it. it does pick up/read when the gas is full right?

1) Go to Dealership and get a bulb. Pop clock out of dash and replace bulb. Easy
2) Get cruise bulb at same time as clock bulb. Remove cruise switch and replace bulb.
3) Could be a fuel sender problem, or you may just never have run the tank low enough for it to come on. My advice is to not worry about it and just keep gas in your tank. Mine doesn't work on my "97 Accord. I think people rely to heavily on an inacurate light.
As far as the check engine light check and make sure it has a Honda gas cap on it and it is tight. If not, fix it then make sure you have your radio code. Pull the Radio/backup fuse under the hood for 30 seconds then reinstall it. This will clear the code. If it recodes your going to have to have it checked out. If not, lucky you.

Thank you very much. The cruise and clock lights now work.
The engine light, however, won't go off and I did that with the fuse.
Thanks again.
