2001 ITR Piston to Cylinder Clearance
I have searched the archives for the answer to this one. I did not find anything specific to my situation.
I am installing a set of P73 pistons (13020-P73-A00) .25 overbore. These are the 2001 Type R pistons.
Does anyone have a Helm manual to lookup the piston to cylinder wall clearance for me? I have a 1996 Integra Helm manual, but that does not cover the Type R style piston and the appropriate clearances. I think the specs should be in the 1998 Integra Manual.
I am looking for the Standard (New) and the Service Limit in both mm and inches for the Type R motor.
Thanks much.
-Tim (trying to avoid buying another shop manual…)

Specs are the same. 4 ten-thou to 16 ten-thou on an inch. .0004" is pretty damn tight tho, so I'd try to hit the middle to upper middle of the clearance range.
Thanks much. That's the info I need.
BTW - The motor's not actually in an ITR, just using some ITR internals in a mild GS-R all-motor project.
Thanks again.
