springs/shocks questions
Does anyone have a good spring/shock combo?
I auto-x maybe once every 6 months and I dont race my Type R yet I want to keep the same handling or better but with a more aggressive stance.
I would like about a 1-2 finger gap and I dont want to spend money on expensive coilovers since I dont race my car so I feel there is no need to waste my money on some bling bling coilovers.
Here are some options I have been pondering, stock springs with koni shocks? Koni sports have 3 way adjustable height.
XXX name springs with Bilstein shocks?
I've done a search and didn't get much info so no need to ask me to do something I've already done.

Just so you know, shocks have nothing to do with ride height. The springs hold the car up (ride height), the shocks just control the springs movement.
Many people have used and liked Stock springs paired with the Bilsteins. I know there is A LOT of info about suspension setups, that's really all I can tell you.
Oh, and coilovers aren't just "bling bling", they are the only way to have fully adjustable suspension. It just depends what you use the car for as to whether you need them or not.
Good luck with your search.
