Did Honda make 5 spd. Wagon '94-97?
I"m looking for a used accord wagon ('94-97' model), and I was wondering if there were any 5 spd. models made. I just came back from 4 weeks in Tokyo, and almost every '94-'97 accord is a wagon.. and they are Totally Tricked out! I know that here in Canada they all seem to be 'EX' models, ( they v-tech engine), but they are so far all automatics.
Thanks for the help...

yea ive also only seen the lx in 5speed.but if the engines are the same maybe u should find out if the regular tranny will fit if u add it yourself.that may work too,and i love the wagon to ive been searching for a while. i dont see too many hooked up here mainly at shows.goodluck.

</TD></TR></TABLE>Yeah, and that it's only a vtech if it's a V6 engine. Inline 4 engines use itech, of course.

94 was the last year honda made a 5spd wagon on this side of the pacific. they made it in the ex and lx, says kelly bluebook. just get an auto and dump it and drive it. if you must have a 5spd, just swap one in. finding a 5spd accord wagon is like finding a one inch needle in a pile of 1.5 inch needles. well not really, but you get my point.
Thanks for the help, but I just found my new accord. A '96 EX sedan, 5 spd, black, with 150K. The body is in great shape, and it runs great. I know that the EX should be vtec, 145hp, but should the valve cover say vtec on it? I don't think it does, and it doesn't look like anything's been swapped. I did a search, and only 2 previous owners, so a fairly good history. Other than some basic cometic mods (clear corners, turn lamps lenses, tinted windows for now), what are the best engine mods to make a few more ponies? I don't want to dump TONNES of cash into it, but CAI, Cat-back exhaust and maybe rims. Any other advice? Thanks..

LOL Vince. For shame. I have a 95 LX wagon in 5spd. I was surprised to find one so fast..actually this ended up being the first wagon I found and looked at in person....ended up driving it home less than a week later. Finding a 5spd EX is going to be even harder. I miss the moonroof/sunroof thing that I had in my '91 EX.

94 was the only year they made the EX in a 5speed if i believe. LX/DX was standard as a 5 speed in 95, and in 96 w/ the OBDII change over they all went to auto
From 91 thru 94 both LX and EX wagons came with either 5 speed or auto. From 95 till when they dropped the wagon in 97, the 5 speed option was only offered on the LX.......for the EX became auto-only.
