Default 2001 Accord grinds in 3rd

2001 Accord EX, 32K, sometimes will grind going in 3rd ( when shifting above 4K or so, and jamming it in). Doesn't grind in any other gear, nor does it grind when shifting conservatively. Tranny fluid was changed at 30K, don't know what the previous owner put in (Honda or some other fluid)
Could it be the synchro going out, allready? Or is it the fluid? Is GM gear oil better than what Honda sells?

whats up b-more im right down the road in columbia.it could be the synchros or too much fluid can cause that grinding too.also it could be the links or cables that throw the gears in place also.

I bought it on the 8th of April, this year, exactly 3 years and 1 day since the car was purchased...Ain't that some ****?
But now that I did some research it seems that my shifting style may have had something to do with it. I had a Jeep before, with a loose truck 5 speed, and a clutch that didn't need to be all the way in. Honda is pretty sensitive in that regard, and I have to push the pedal in all the way when shifting aggresively.
It's fine downshifting, so I think the synchros may not be it, just bad shifting on my behalf.
