Default Type R storage

Yesterday, I stored my car for the winter. The place where I did so is nice and heated and hmm doesn't have much humidity. My question is, should I have jacked the car up? First off I had jacks, I got there and I couldn't find a decent spot to install the goddam things and the guy who owns this place was like it doesn't matter no one here does, so I decided not to. What would have been the best thing to do? I need suggestions quick .

i'd suggest taking the tires off... i've heard of them having problems if you sit the entire weight of the car on one spot on the tire the whole winter

I've heard of that... THOU, never did it with my GSR last winter. One thing I would recommend is a fuel stabilizer... fuel DOES go "flat" so to say. This is something VERY popular in the Doo (SeaDoo) world, whereas we leave our boat and jetskis stationary for extended amount of time.

So... fuel stabilizer, disconnect the battery, sure why not... put it on stand and pull the tires to keep them from weighing the suspension down... Ummmm, give it a good wash and put the cover on it. Bake at 350 degrees till warm weather, and poof out should come a still solid ride. Enjoy!

I did all the following except for putting them on stands, but I might go move the car in January so it's not always standing at the same spot if anyone has any other experience or suggestions feel free to let me know

When we store cars for the winter we just air the tires to the max spec on the side of the tire. It is usually 50-55psi, top off all of the fluids, sta-bil in the gas tank and a battery maintainer or dissconect the battery. Rodent kill near the car helps prevent any little guys from making a mess of the wiring.

Don't start it to move it, just push it around if you do.
