MY CAR RUNS, code 10 (IAT sensor) question
Yeah, for the first time in 6 months. Now I have a question about the IAT. It is stuck, quite well. I may have stripped out the screws. Am I after the wrong source? Could it be something else causing the code 10 (I hope)?

Take a pair of dikes......place it sideways over the screw...squeeze tight and twist it counterclockwise. It should turn enough to get a philips on it to take it off. This always works. Next time use an impact srewdriver to loosen the philips. Pull out the IAT and check for burn marks on the tip. If is seems ok check the wiring.
i messed up the plugs for the IAT sensor and the idle control. they are the same plugs and located very near each other on the intake mani. try switching them around, worked for me.
Well after you changed out the Intake Air Temp Sensor did you reset your ECU???
You must remove the negative battery terminal or just disconnect the Ecu from the car for a few mintues to reset the ECU. Do this and you should solve your problem.
When ever you change any part like that which effects trouble codes you should reset the ECU. In fact if you change anything Intake, Exhaust, Cams, etc.... You should reset the ECU.
RESET THE ECU!!!!!
Hope that works

I did the MPFI swap over a year ago, I'm going to print off the diagnostics page for it from my helms, I'll update when I finish it.

It is the TPS, you switch the outer wires.
