When you say rich...how rich? What size injectors do you have?

factory injectors, minimal mods. i/h/e msd ignition, nothing too serious. just waiting until i get tuned. a/f guage shows its running rich, but it doesnt show a ratio. it should be getting dyno tuned this week. it runs real good, i just dont want to do any long term damage

I think you'll be fine...just to be on the safe side, don't beat on the engine until after your tuner straps it to a wideband and tunes the engine...better to be safe than sorry!
