Looking to see whatkind of Carbon Fiber products that are not very popular with big corp's, would be popular for you guys. I am looking into making C/F Hoods, and lips right now, but I was wondering if the stock sideskirts or maybe even the Mugen ones in Carbon Fiber would be a selling point on here?? Please let me know what you would want made out of carbon fiber. Be realistic in your thoughts because I am about to begin producing lips for CRX's right now.

carbon fiber window thingies (you know the things on the door right after the window, they are black plastic now and they come off all the damn time).......pix of the lips you are going to produce?

 

not knocking the creator of the thread, but everyother week there is a member that "is making carbon fiber products". I will beleive it when i see some prototypes.

 

yea those carbon fiber window thingies would be great...my drivers side fell off and i could never replace it

if i could give you any advice on doing this you better make them as cheap as possible. a lot of people would say they are interested, but as soon as you make them and ask a decent price you will soon discover you have no one to sell them to. just some advice from what ive seen on here.

 

I'll post some pics right now. Got the Headliner and center piece for sunroof done, laying carbon fiber for Type-R style lip tonight or tomorrow night

 

I wanna see a "cheaper" but same quality sunroof plug.
The lips I hope you really make.

The roof liner would look pretty sweet I think.

 

i would like to see a frontlip for a crx but like they said it beta be pretty cheap and good product

 

For 88-91 hatch iwht the SIR look count me IN

 

rear cargo tray in carbon would be nice and easy to clean

 

yeah I agree definatly the b pillars (door things that guy was refering too) 88-89 are different from the 90-91 and there are two peices per side. side skirts maybe? I'd say a gauge bezel it once again 2 different styles 88-89 90-91. why nobody makes one is beyond me. also the cargo cover is a good idea.

 

A NICE looking front lip for EF <U>hatches</U>, people already makes lips for the damn CRX and I want one for my hatch. The guage bezel is a nice idea also

 

Definitely the rear cargo compartment cover.

 

i will have the front lip and rear storage tray in 2 weeks the headliner for a crx is already done. i should have the sides in 2 week to. i am thinking about a type r style rear lip for the crx i will have to see about the hatch rear lip.

 

so how much are you selling this lips for???

That seems kinda steep, half the price of a whole jdm front end.

 

Carbon lip for an EF hatch would be dope...but pix would help alot.
I'd be down for buying a carbon wing for the EF hatch also.

 

I think all the idea's above are pretty sweet but I'm inclinded to agree that i would like to see some pictures and prices before i become super interested.

a hood is one thing. something thats relatively big and reduces a little bit of weight. but when you are talking about a front lip or some carbon fiber window things and ask 300 for a lip most people can't see it. especially when i know a good amount are more interested in engine modification rather than body add ons.

 

i would spend 150 tops for a lip, itll most likely get screwed up on the street anyways

haha... patches of CF here and there look kind of ridiculous if you ask me. An affordable JDM style hood that fits USDM cars is all i ask! I think the only company that makes them is Fiber Images??
