Default type s ecu hondatafied in ep3

Here's the deal. I'm planning on using the type s ecu with the hondata k series programmable. I have a 2003 si and I plan on doing a motor/tranny swap. K24 block type s head and type s tranny. With all that said will this ecu set up work with my cars stock controls (windows and all other features of the car) or does it not matter?

the ecu only control the motors function. There are different relays and brains for the windows and locks etc...

Personally I think you'd go for the K20. It's less heavy and easier to get more power out.

Just a thought.

Thanks I didn't know that. Not felling higher compression motor will be turboed and I'm def. felling the benefits of lots more torque and displacement plus the fact that the set up is going to be rare.

I think any K20/K24 swap into an si would be rather rare I don't think there were done any in Europe. What about over there?
The K20 engine has much more power potention. We are about to swap one into an ITR and see if we manage to get it set at around 260HP, n/a.

I wouldn't build a K24 frankinstein. For reliablility reasons. I know that there are some good builders but there is nothing more reliable then stock. If I were you and want to go turbo then I would get a Type S motor and turbo it. If you were going all motor then I would go K20a. This is my opinion though.

Type s motor turbo stock isn't that great. Compression is to high to boost a lot. **** what mister honda built. My question for everybody is how come when you ask a question on honda tech you get the run around and everyones opinion when you are even asking it. i asked a simple question about an ecu and look what I got.
