My first OBD-II swap NEED HELP!!!
So... I used a 96cx harness on 2000 SiR B16A. I am also using JDM P2T ecu (same ecu that came with the motor) The SRS light is on and I'm getting codes 14 and 41. The car will not idle unless I create a vacuum leak by unplugging the small hose on the back of the intake mani. The CX harness had a three wire plug for the IAVC and the b16 uses a 2 plug.. I removed the orange plug and used the 2 remaining wires. As for the O2 sensors, the CX harness has primary and secondary, but the P2T ecu only looks for 1... do you think the O2 itself is bad? I don't know where to plug the vaccum line from the purge solenoid valve and where does the pipe on the middle top of the throttle body get plugged into (vacuum line) please help, or point me to a thread where this swap is written up well.
on a side note, the "Vtec pressure switch" located on the side of the head below the solenoid does not exist. there is just an empty hole there.

Though you wired up the 2-wire IACV connector onto the existing 3-wire harness, did you remember to switch the pins at the ECU for the IACV (A14 into A12, I believe)?
Code 41 is for the heater section in the O2 sensor....bust out a meter and measure its resistance; should be 15-40ohms.

So, Code 41 has been removed... What happened was, I extended the o2 sensor and mixed up the black wires. I switched them and now no more code 41. As for the code 14... I did not switch them on the ECU, which I will do today... I assume this will also fix my idle problem... It will only idle if I have the hose for cruise control unplugged....... Sooo.... basically, if I have a vacuum leak, it idles.. if I block it, it dies. I assume that if I get the AICV repaired, it will open and close correctly and get rid of the idle problem as well. THANKS AGAIN!!!!

You need to switch the wires at the ECU for sure....this IS the reason your IACV isn't even working right now. Currently it is offering NO additional air into the manifold, thus introducing a vacuum leak helps you out.
So yes, do the wire swap and you should be on point after that.

NOW UP AND RUNNING THANKS TO THIS MAN---->EE_CHRIS!!!!!! NO CEL'S WOOT!
before:

during: (I apologize in advance for this one)

and after:

just a few extra: (the install of the purge solenoid valve)

I believe that 96+ are OBD-II and 99+ USDM (civic si's anyway) are OBD-IIb. For this swap the existing harness is a 96-98 or OBD-II but since the engine is jdm, the ecu it came with plugged in correctly, (I now assume that Japan doesn't have OBD-IIb. What ECU were you planning on using (the type-r one) and in what car?

Crx is obd-0 .. the wiring harness is different. Are you asking what you would need to do to drop it into a crx? sorry, im just not sure of exactly what you are asking.
