need some help with alarm and remote start install on 97 civic ex
this is my first install so i'm trying to get all the info i could. i've been searching all over the internet and stuff and this is where i'm at now. i have all the wires that are needed, but i'm not sure when to use a relay. so if anyone has done an install on a 96-97 civic or know have information i could use, give me a hand.
heres a pic that i made of the alarm brain:

and this is the wiring locations that i got for my car, i have wiring data for 88-02 civics, so if anyone need wiring data for a certain year, send me a pm

this is what i plan on doing and the questions i have: (main questions are bolded)
plug 1: just plug
plug 2: lock to green/white
+12 volt not used correct?
unlock to grn/org
plug 3: not used
plug 4: plug in
plug 5: plug in
plug 6: horn out (-) gray wire, use a relay correct?
dome light (-) i'm gonna use the negative door trigger for this, need a relay?
plug 7: plug in
plug 8: parking light positive 10 amp output red/black
+12 volt system power white
+ 3 amp siren output does this go to the red wire on the siren? and just ground the black wire on the siren?
system ground ground to bare metal
negative armed or engine running output where does this go? i was looking at diagrams of starter kill relays and a pin that said "ground when armed", is this where i connect that pin on the relay to? heres a pic of the starter kill relay:
tach connect to blue wire
negative door trigger light green/red
negative trigger hood (sensors) under hood push button
positive door trigger not used?
brake light switch green/white
plug 9: to starter (positive output) i'm having a problem with this wire, do i tap into the starter wire (black/white) or do i use this as a pin for the starter kill relay? im thinking the starter kill has to do with the negative armed wire on plug 8, but not sure
to accessory (positive output) white/black
to ignition 1 (positive output) black/yellow
to ignition 2 (positive output) yellow
plug 10: +12 volt input (for the relays) white
+12 volt input (for the relays) white
thanks for any help you guys could give me

I have a go at a few of those...
+12 volt not used correct? -- that one would pwer an inverter... but you wont need one.
plug 6: horn out (-) gray wire, use a relay correct? -- should be able to find - horn in the column, so no relay needed there.
dome light (-) i'm gonna use the negative door trigger for this, need a relay? -- shouldn't need a relay.
+ 3 amp siren output does this go to the red wire on the siren? and just ground the black wire on the siren? -- yup. to be a prostar, run another ground wire from your main alarm grounding point for the siren ground. ( if you ground the siren under the hood some where it will rust)
negative armed or engine running output where does this go? i was looking at diagrams of starter kill relays and a pin that said "ground when armed", is this where i connect that pin on the relay to? -- Use that as your - SK trigger., just a tip, make the + trigger; Ignition and not constant +12 , as you only want the relay activating when some one is actually stealing it, and not on all the time when it is merely armed.
positive door trigger not used? correct.
plug 9: to starter (positive output) i'm having a problem with this wire, do i tap into the starter wire (black/white) or do i use this as a pin for the starter kill relay? im thinking the starter kill has to do with the negative armed wire on plug 8, but not sure. -- Ok, So you CUT your OEM starter wire and connect it to the SK relay. Now this wire you will connect to the car side of the cut OEM starter wire ( so the car still remote starts, even when its armed).
hope that helps.

well i did the install
everything is working great except for the starter kill, i bought the wrong plug for the relay
i'll do that some other day. but it was great learning experience. really cramp in some spots, hard to do the wiring
wasn't too bad though, i'm gonna hook up an alarm on my hatch too

you mean add another alarm to the trunk or just connect the trunk pin to the alarm ? just curious, the way that reads...
