i did. 
crx, b16, type r cams, p&p + valve job, dc header, thermal exhaust, modded to a stock canister just for emmissions... passed
i was only a few #s off from failing though.
i should have tried to go through emmissions with the thermal on, but it was being shipped back for a baffel to be installed.

I am not street legal yet but prolly getting a b18c5 u think they will sayanyting about the engine?

why would they even care. we live in Ct... motor swaps are legal. it wouldn't matter if i had a v8 in my crx as long as it passes emission.

you live in Cali... you will have problems with motorswaps as all people in that state do. contact people in your area and figure out how they have gotten around the law. you can contact a SMOG ref and ask them questions as well. they will have the best answers for you.
