Default 2000 civic SI stereo in EG

I know i'm probably not searching correctly, but i can't seem to find how the SI stereo fits into an EG dash. If anybody can help me with a link, or some info on how it all works out, that would be great. TIA

go to the dealership and get a replacement harness for the si deck. then go buy a harness for an aftermarket stereo for your eg harness. connect the aftermarket harness to the stock si harness, that way you keep your stock harness intact. i have mine placed nicely in my audio console. it fits perfectly with the pocket from the si.

its not going to fit flush like a stock eg stereo. its going to sit a bit further in. best buy sells the harness you need. make sure you also have the security code

you only need the pocket if its going into an audio console, otherwise it will fit fine in the original spot.

Yeah it fits right in. It should plug right into your factory plug. Well at least the stock GSR CD player did in my '92.
