Use a Y8 headgasket. That is the one you are suppose to use. Heck carefully remove the inner part for more compression. Here is a link to a write on a mini-me swap ----> https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=554053 .

Good Day,

alright the 69$ one was the wrong gasket so i went and got the d16y8 gasket for 20 bucks i put it on then started the car and coolant was leaking externally from where the block and head meet in the front....I didnt clean off the surface from the old cork gasket and i used the same head bolts for the third time and the head has not been resurfaced do you think these things will solve my new problem????

Clean the surfaces of first!

FYI - Honda no longer carries a Y8 and a Z6 head gasket. They are now the same part number.

uh, yeah...clean the surface completely. Any composite cork material will left will prevent the the new gasket from creating a good seal.

And you might want to think about some new head bolts...or better yet ARP head studs for just a couple bucks more.
