When I checked my codes, the SRS flashed non-stop and the check engine light flashed the codes.

When I checked my codes yesterday and I didnt jump it properly...the CEL stayed on. When I jumped it correctly it turned off (meaning I had a code 0) As far as the SRS light...I have no clue

Can you clear the cel codes and make it fresh? You change stearing wheels latly? Or have messed with your airbag system? Unplug your battery for like a few mins. if that dont work unplug your ecu then plug it back in. Check your wiring to air bags. If that aint it do something to throw a cel thats easy to fix like a o2 sensor or something to check and make sure that your check engine light isnt ***'d up. If all else fails pull your fuses for a min then reconnect them. I read in a diy a guy did a while back and it worked a'ok. Damn i wish i rememred what that post was about. Sounds stupid but sometimes its the stupid things that work. Check your ecu unplug yours an find someone with the same ecu and swap an see if it goes away. Dat easist way to see if ecu went bad. Post up any info of things you have done to your car recently so maybe it would shed more light on what may have happend to cause this. Just tryin to help.

thanks for the tips im gonna go try them shortly.

Well to begin i have a 95 civic dx with an ex eng. (still running dx ecu)
My check engine light hasent come on lately, but i belive my o2 is bad, because the way it runs i have no other idea what it could be. Im really not sure if it started acting up before or after i installed the b18 TB. Someone mentioned something about setting the voltage on the tps. which i still wanna try.. but ill give some of those things a shot and let you guys know what happens

just changed the o2 sensor and PCV valve still nothing!!

check engine light been coming on alot more (since the weather got warmer) could temp effect it??? im so confused..

Problem: Check eng will come on (car runs decent), now when the check eng. sometimes dont come on it sometimes acts up. Heres what it does:

How i know its gonna run crappy: i will push on the gas very lightly and around 1200-1400 rpms it will start idling rough Ex: vroom vroom vroom.

Now when i start off i go as i normally would and the idle drops down and almost stalls (sometimes does!!!!) now it goes real low then shoots up to 3k+ rpm then goes.

When im driving it rides soooo rough. ill let off the gas and then give it gas and it jolts!

Whats even stranger is it usually just goes away then my car will run normal again?! All this usually happens after the car is already warm....I will go drive the car for the 1st time in the day and it runs ok, check eng. still comes on. but lets say i shut off the car and turn it back on then it usually acts up!!! i just dont know what the problem could be... could it be something with the ign.? anyone know?

They way you describing it, it kinda reminds me of people with maps problems. Thats ignition and fuel. Read up in the archived section under maps and see if that seems similiar. I'd switch that ecu to a ex. Try to get one at a junkyard. Ya can get them cheap there.

well fixed osme thing yesterday!

First i found out how to check the code. what i did was when the car was on the check eng. came on so i was like lemme try to jump it now. so i did and it flashed a code 6 which is coolent temp sensor. so i had one on my spare eng. and boom no more check eng!!

I still get those weird surges though but today im gonna adjust the IACV, TPS, etc and see if that works.... Another thing was my ing. timing was pretty retard so now thats all fixed and car is running 10x better!
