Default Will my stock alternator cut it?

Looking to create some serious power with my future system.... Maybe close to 2000 circulating watts. Does the stock alternator and battery cut it? Have a 01 DC2. Heard that if you are pushing lower than 14 volts you are losing power and can kill your electrical system.... Still have original alternator and battery in the car...

Maybe I need a deepcycle and extra battery along wiht an isolator and 2 caps?

Ohms law says no.

your charging system needs will depend on the type of system you want.

Is this system going to be for db drags, where it will be played for 1 second at a time, or will this be your daily driver system... what are your goals ?

I would like to compete in DB drags but I also listen to lots of bass very frequently.

My goals is to have a vented 4 cubed internal with a 15 incher like the magnum or RE XXX giving it about 1500 watts. I dont knwo how many DBs that going to hit but i hope alot!!

if you are doing DB drags DO NOT get caps... they actually reduce the overall decible output... get a dry or gel cell battery up front, if that doesnt cut it get another dry cell battery and wire it in, in the trunk, with the battery from the front.
