Default OBD2b ECU and OBD1 Motor

Hmm...

Does anyone think this can work? I have an extra d16y8 ecu and I'm still using my regular obd2b connectors, I'm just not sure of the differences in the sensors and what not.

Any thoughts?

EDIT: This is with an OBD1 H22a/1999 Civic
