i just put a new tranny in my 89 civic hatch with a zc dohc and it runs like **** when i try to get up to speed the thing stalls out i can hear my intake sucking and it doesent seem like it is getting any fuel to the motor also when i am stopped and i rev up it will hit about 2500 rpm and just try and die i dont think it is the spark plugs or any of that cause it ran fine before the swap oh i put a si tranny in it. any feedback would be helpful thanks

 

did you bump the distributor when messing around with the tranny? check your timing-probably fuckked it up.

 

could you have disconnected your main harness ground on the thermo housing?

 

sounds like a ground. one connects to the clutch cabel bracket i think.
