LS Vtec - All motor or turbo?

LS Vtec - All motor or turbo?
My friend and I are planning an all out race car and we decided to use an LS Vtec motor. Whats better for this engine, all motor or turbo? if we go all motor, we have basically all the internals, but if we go turbo we'll have to look for the parts. Whats the H-T opinion?
